Mexico is a colorful and diverse travel destination. It offers an incredible number of both historical sites and natural wonders.
What draws many travelers to Mexico are the white sandy beaches, coconut palms and turquoise sea. But what I personally fell in love with was the culture and the people; the friendliness of Mexicans seemed to have no limits.
For food lovers, Mexico always has something new to offer depending on the region. In addition to the traditional tacos and burritos, it’s worth trying enchiladas and chilaquiles. The mole sauce is also something to experience. Our kids’ favorite is quesadillas.
Typical souvenirs from Mexico include colorful traditional clothing and handicrafts, ceramics, tequila and mezcal. Both tequila and mezcal are made from agave plant, but mezcal uses only a specific type of agave which gives it a slightly different flavor.
The most popular travel destinations in Mexico are the Yucatán Peninsula and Baja California Sur. Mexico City is also a favorite spot for visitors.
