Georgia is also a major filming hub for movies and TV shows, which has earned it the nickname “Hollywood of South”.
Agriculture continues to play an important role in the state’s economy. Georgia is one of the nation’s leading producers of poultry, peanuts and of course, its famously sweet peaches.
