Itโs time to look at the new year and new adventures for 2020. I just got the new NAVI 2020 Journal by Belle de Jour, and they are featuring 12 travel bloggers in it, me being one of them. The theme is โmy other homeโ and all the bloggers are showcasing one of their favorite destinations, the one that they feel right at home in. For years now I have been trying to get into using a digital calendar, such as one in my phone, but I always end up writing important things on our wall calendar in the kitchen. I must be a little old fashioned in that way, but for next year Iโm going back to using a good old paper calendar with NAVI 2020.
THE NAVI 2020 JOURNAL IS A DREAM PLANNER FOR TRAVELERS
The Navi 2020 Journal is especially designed for everyone who loves to travel, but it also works well for anyone needing a new planner. Among the normal yearly and weekly planners there are many pages aimed at planning your future travels. You can write down all your goals for the year, โmust seeโ places and packing lists. There is also a spread for the itineraries of your future trips and preparations you need to do before the trip. The neatest page in my opinion is the one where you can color all the countries you have visited from the world map. If you travel to new countries in 2020 you can come back to color more of them.
The planner is well made and great quality. It has soft leather covers, and a pocket in its back cover where you can store all kinds of tickets and receipts. It has two colored ribbons that you can use as bookmarks. If you are in the U.S. you can find the planner from Amazon, and in Asia it is sold by Crazy about Paper.
12 STORIES FROM TRAVEL BLOGGERS
I got an opportunity to be in the planner since this year they are featuring 12 travel bloggers with some of their favorite spots in the world. They are all talking about the place they consider as their second home. You can read about what makes these places so special, and what you should see, do and eat if you visit there. There is a picture of the place provided by the blogger, and a photo of the blogger her or himself of course. This a great way to find new travel influencers to follow. It was a great pleasure and a surprise to be able to be part of this production!
My story can be found from the April page and I chose to feature Utah. It almost feels like our second home now since we have visited there so many times. We have some family there and every now and then we go visit them. The nature in Utah is just so amazing that I donโt think we can ever get tired of it. The best thing about Utah are the numerous National Parks they have. It will take a while to explore them all. On our last visit we also visited Snow Canyon State Park and hiked a trail to see some hoodoos, which are very cool rock formations, and they were both beautiful. During the winter time they do get some snow in Utah and many ski resorts in the mountains will be open. We have even been swimming in a hot crater in Utah! There is so many things in that state that we just love going there! If you want to try some local food I would recommend the Navajo Tacos which are sold in the restaurants run by the Navajo Indians. Utah truly feels like going to home by now!
Many of you might know that I am originally from Finland, Europe, and I still consider that to be my home as well. I did have a photo of the Midnight Sun proposed for the planner, but this time they went with the photo I took in Arches National Park in Utah.

This is so cool! Iโm a big fan of paper journals and an avid traveler too so this is exactly what I need. It will keep me organized and feed my wanderlust at the same time. Thanks for the heads up. Congratulations on being featured, too!
Thank you Jackie! ๐ I also love paper journals and have saved all old ones ever since I was a teenager.
Congrats on being featured, it is so nice to be recognized! I love writing things down too. I have tried to use my phone for my lists but itโs just not the same. I especially like the way the must see destinations pages are set up. This is such a great way to keep track of all the great information I read about destinations
Thank you Sherianne! I always start using lists on my phone and then forget them. I guess paper ones are not so easy to forget.
Congrats for getting featured in new NAVI 2020 Journal by Belle de Jour. I loved this journal and planner as it provides easy way to plan our trips. Good to know that they give tips in what to pack and also have separate space for putting our bucket list ideas. I love writing notes instead of making notes on mobile, and therefore love this planner. I would surely buy it.
Thanks Yukti!
Congratulations on being featured in the journal. The Navi journal looks so pretty and functional! I love how there is a thoughtful list of things to pack to the tee. Just what I would like to lay my hands on. I find them so useful !
Thanks Meenakshi!
I am a huge fan of notebooks. The Navi 2020 journal would be my perfect travel companion. Every section that it contains is what I need. What a great gift for travellers for Xmas. Utah sounds amazing, we have not visited as yet, but definitely sounds like we should.
Thank you Jane! Utah is truly a worth of visiting!
I would love to check out this planner, looks very well organised and congratulations on being featured. Can I call you Miss April now? ๐ I still use travel journals to jot down notes, I dont care what people say, they are still useful to have.
Ha ha…. sure Danik! I agree, they are very useful.
Congratulations! This planner looks amazing and will be a great gift for my friends who globe-trot. I love Utah and called it home for about 10 years. I can see why you also call it your home away from home- it is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Laura! Living in Utah must of been amazing!
